*There will be open meetings when any student interested in helping with Student Council is allowed to attend even if they are not an elected representative.

All action items must be completed by Tuesday, August 31st in order to be on the ballot for Student Council Elections on Friday, September 3rd.

1. Sign up using this Google Form 

2. Attend the 10 minute informational meeting before or after school on Friday, August 27th in room 241

   • Before school - 8:20-8:30

   • After school - 3:50 - 4:00

3. Complete the Candidate Agreement Form by Tuesday, August 31st

4. Create a single page flyer to be posted in our Knight Time Canvas and on SMSD social media by Tuesday, August 31st

5. Send these single page flyers to lauraballard@smsd.org or joannebroekhuizen@smsd.org by Tuesday, August 31st  

 

Additional Information: 

All campaigning will be done through the one page flyers posted online. There will not be any speeches or physical posters hung in the hallway. Elections will be during Knight Time. The Voting link will be provided in Canvas to 7th and 8th grade students on Friday, September 3rd.
